Do you makes promises to someone

Have you ever made promises to a friend or anyone that you forgot or left unfulfilled in life,have you ever bothered to even fulfill a promise in life that you had left as it is,even i had not fulfilled some of my own promises i make that i forgets it and leave it,do you make such promises that you dont even care and that you just say it for the sake of the person who hears it.How do you feel about such thing?
